Colour INKspiration #13 - Guest Designer- Woot Woot!

Hello everyone! I am very pleased today to be blog hopping with the Colour INKspiration Design Team as their Guest Designer this fortnight. You might be starting with me or perhaps hopped over from my friend Lou Kitzelman, bet you are inspired after seeing her work! I LOVE these colour challenges and was so stoked to win the 11th challenge and a spot as a Guest Designer for 13th challenge. I was really happy with the card I made for the 11th challenge and jokingly said to my daughter, "How funny would it be if I won this one as I will be away on holidays and may not be able to accept the guest spot?". Well of course Murphy's Law, I did win so got home late Saturday and had to quickly whip up a card on Sunday before back to work Monday! It was a bit of a whirlwind and after two weeks of no creating it took a little while for the creative brain to kick in but in the end I have produced a card I am happy with!

Ok, enough whaffling the card....

It was a given that the Large Letter Framelits would feature in my card as they have been on my wish list for a while & arrived while I was away so I was super excited to get them out and give them a whirl. I cut them firstly with a piece of DSP from Pieces & Patterns and then die cut them again in Lemon Lime Twist to use as a shadow. The Flowers are from the Jar of Love Stamp Set, one of my favourites!

A new product in the catalogue that made popping up those letters so much easier was the mini dimensionals, so much quicker than cutting larger one into smaller bits!

I also did a little bit of prettying up the inside using the fab new washi tape and some leftover flowers from the front!

The colour brief for this challenge was Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum & Wild Wasabi.

After you've hopped around to see everyone's beautiful work, why don't you join in on the fun and enter the challenge?! Your next stop is with Rachel Palmieri, she'll have something to wow you!
